eligible to apply.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1021\">What is Positive Psychotherapy?<\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"1022\" data-end=\"1417\">Positive Psychotherapy is a <strong data-start=\"1050\" data-end=\"1095\">short-term dynamic psychotherapy approach<\/strong> with a <strong data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1129\">humanistic perspective<\/strong>. It was developed in Germany in the late 1960s by <strong data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1213\">Prof. Dr. Nossrat Peseschkian<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1217\" \/>The <strong data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1294\">World Association for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (WAPP)<\/strong> is a member of the <strong data-start=\"1314\" data-end=\"1362\">European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP)<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1366\" \/>Its effectiveness has been scientifically proven.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1419\" data-end=\"1871\">To obtain the title of <em data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1468\">Positive Psychotherapist<\/em>, a <strong data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1502\">two-stage training program<\/strong> is required. This includes theoretical lessons, supervision-based patient work, and the therapist candidate\u2019s own therapy process.<br data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1636\" \/>The <strong data-start=\"1640\" data-end=\"1658\">Basic Training<\/strong> consists of <strong data-start=\"1671\" data-end=\"1684\">200 hours<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1685\" data-end=\"1688\" \/>Upon completion, participants receive the title of <strong data-start=\"1739\" data-end=\"1776\">Positive Psychotherapy Consultant<\/strong>. To become a certified <em data-start=\"1800\" data-end=\"1826\">Positive Psychotherapist<\/em>, advanced training must also be completed.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"1873\" data-end=\"1919\">Basic Training in Positive Psychotherapy<\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"1920\" data-end=\"2172\">The <strong data-start=\"1924\" data-end=\"1950\">Basic Training Program<\/strong> provides participants with the core concepts and techniques of Positive Psychotherapy. While theoretical knowledge is taught, the emphasis is on its <strong data-start=\"2100\" data-end=\"2125\">practical application<\/strong> through <strong data-start=\"2134\" data-end=\"2169\">role plays and small group work<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2243\">Effective psychotherapy training consists of three main components:<\/p>\r\n<ol data-start=\"2244\" data-end=\"2370\">\r\n<li data-start=\"2244\" data-end=\"2270\">\r\n<p data-start=\"2247\" data-end=\"2270\">Theoretical education<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li data-start=\"2271\" data-end=\"2319\">\r\n<p data-start=\"2274\" data-end=\"2319\">Self-exploration of the therapist candidate<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li data-start=\"2320\" data-end=\"2370\">\r\n<p data-start=\"2323\" data-end=\"2370\">Supervised clinical practice with first cases<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2654\">In this program, participants are encouraged to use theoretical knowledge for <strong data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2478\">self-awareness exercises<\/strong> while also discussing real cases\u2014both their own and those presented by trainers.
